Getting balance in your life involves not only achieving external fulfilment in your career, finances and relationships, it is also about have fulfilment and balance in your own physical, mental and emotional health. With modern day medical research proving the mind/ body connection and the fact that every thought we have releases a shower of chemicals in the body that becomes a part of and directly affects the physical nature of our body it is therefore one of the most important goals we must have in our lives to have a balanced and healthy mental and emotional state.

 

Your mental and emotional health involves having a healthy relationship with yourself, dealing with your mental state of relaxation and releasing excess mental baggage you may be carrying around with you. For example it could be trauma you may have from your upbringing, from past relationships, from past events, from past behaviours you exhibited, or even current habits and behaviours you are exhibiting that are concerning you. It can simply be beliefs you hold true about yourself that are negative, such as feelings of unworthiness, lack of confidence or even feelings of self loathing.
